The first steps we would take were to seperate the ill people from the healthy people. Then we would try to find vaccines for the sick people by brainstorming and doing the whole thinking and decision making process. The safety of the group is far more important that the needs of the individuals. So the community has the most priorities when it comes to food, shelter, and safety.

What is it like to be a teenager in your region? How do they participate in the decision-making process of your region?
Teens live a sophisticated lifestyle compared to most other regions, yet they lack the power of decision making until they are 16 years old.
Being a teenager in the Lakali region is a very fun time of their life. The boys are separated from the girls in school and they share dorms with about 3 boys or girls per dorm. They do not have any say in the voting process of our nation until they turn 16 and receive the rainbow tattoo.
How are marriage partners chosen by your people? Do you recognize marriages of people outside of your region? Remember to incorporate the values and beliefs of your region.
There is no forced marriages in the Lakali region. Marriage is based purely on love and friendship, but if any on those promises are broken, the partener must suffer a terrible punishment for doing so. The Lakali parents determine whether a tribe member is allowed to marry some one from another region. Also, the region of which the person is from plays a big roll in that.
Only single partner marriages are allowed in the region of the Lakali. We allow marriage of other tribes, however there can only be 2 people married at the same time. The values of the marriage are important in the Lakali tribe. You must stay faithful to your partner and never tell them a lie.
Describe a house your people might live in.
The houses are all unique because the Lakali are sophisticated and artsy. They vary in size and shape, yet they all share a common feature; they are all efficient. They use there abundant resources to make just about any thing they can.
The Lakali citizens generally live in average sized neighborhoods where domestic tranquiliTAY is common. A house in one of these neighborhoods would be made out of a combination of wood, iron and mud. They can use the technology of the lens to make windows to see outside of their houses, yet be protected from the elements. They enjoy a rainbow colored house with a very classy and fantastic garden.
What does your region do about the issue of mind-altering substances such as fermented grain or wine?
It is shunned upon to use mind-altering substances before the legal age of 16. Once allowed, it is still not of Lakali nature to become "wasted" because they do not believe in partying and acting crazy. They are very mature at a young age, and they are layed back for their whole life.
Our region does allow the use of mind-altering substances such as wine, however the age to use these substances is set at 16. When you reach age 16 you receive a special rainbow tattoo marking on your ankle to show that you are of age to use the substances such as margaritas and long island iced teas.

Not only do they have to dress fanatastically, they also have many duties around their homes that start at a young age and become more and more time consuming as they get older. They have to keep their houses neat and they constantly need to make repairs. Otherwise their homes would be vulnerable to nature. They also need to stay clean and healthy.
The responsibilities of the citizens of Lakali are to always dress in brightly colored clothes and be FANTASTIC 100% of the time. Any citizen found to be anything less than fantastic will receive a fine of 400 Lakilitos (the currency of the Lakali.)
